The general misconseption from some people is that Canadians aren't as patriotic as other countries. However, we are all very proud to be Canadian and we ARE patriotic when we must be. The entire idea of not televising the return of our fallen soldiers , I feel, is absurd. Our youth are being denied the full understanding and knowledge of war. "Out of sight...out of mind" perhaps? There IS a war going on and by not televising the return of our heros, their families and friends and ALL of us Canadians are being benied our patiotism.
